Christianity - Jesus was a master teacher.

Picture
Jesus wanted his disciples (if you are a Christian that includes you) to know how Christianity works. He makes the comparision between friends and slaves. "No longer do I call you slaves for the slave does not know what his master is doing: but I have called you friends, for all things that I have learned from my Father I have made known to you." John 15:15

His intention  for us is not just to see his acts but to understand how those acts came about. Psalm 103:7 says "He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel". Moses knew the ways or the how and why of God's acts. He understood the workings of God.

Now if you have believed in Christ, the Word of God is your textbook and the Holy Spirit your master teacher. Christianity does work but only to the measure of your knowledge of the truth.

The first thing you need to know is the person Jesus Christ. That's where the Christian life starts and ends. If you've come to know Jesus, this blog is for you.

God desires to show you how Christianity works. In the book of Mark Jesus says "the kingdom of God is like..."  Mark 4:26. In other words he was about to demonstrate how Christianity works".
